Dr. Pamela Gershuny is a Professor of Business Law in the Department of Accounting, Harrison College of Business, Southeast Missouri State University. Dr. Gershuny earned her B.S. in Business at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, her M.B.A. at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and her law degree at the University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She served as an editor of the University of Michigan Journal of Gender and Law. She incorporated a special focus on intellectual property law, specifically, trademark, copyrights, and licensing intellectual property in her legal education. Prior to attending law school, she worked for two major computer companies performing nationwide marketing of systems. After law school, she served as a judicial clerk at the federal district court level. She is an experienced trial attorney in product liability and employment matters. In addition to litigation experience, she gained regulatory agency experience while serving in Washington, D.C. in the Chairman’s office of the FCC. Rounding out her knowledge of business and law, Dr. Gershuny worked in AT&T’s in-house legal department. In Spring of 2010, Dr. Gershuny was invited to present her research on the gendered impacts employment law, social security law, and tax policy at Duke University Law School. |
