Dr. H. Joseph Wen is a Professor and Chairperson at Accounting and Management Information Systems Department , Southeast Missouri State University. He holds a Ph.D. in MIS from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). He has published over 122 papers in academic refereed journals, book chapters, encyclopedias and national conference proceedings. His research interests are in the areas of: (1) information systems analysis, design, and evaluation and (2) Internet and e-commerce. In the systems analysis and design area, He has published 30 refereed journal articles, and have received $6,685,693.21 research grants from various State (NJDOT, NJTPA, NJIT) and Federal agencies (USDOT Grant No. DTRS 92-G-0011). In the area of Internet and e-commerce, he has published 42 refereed journal articles. He has also worked as a senior developer and project manager for various contracts since 1988. The systems that he has designed include: client/server databases, decision support systems (DSS), and executive information systems (EIS).
